To summarize, Scribble Squares was the most popular object from the survey. It elicited tingles in the most participants (53%), ranked 3rd in tingle pleasantness and was by far experienced as the most relaxing to watch. Riffle Sheets elicited the strongest tingles and Wavy Strays elicited the most pleasant tingles.

It sure seems like animated material without humans can elicit tingles. Even though the material has no direct human presence, it would be interesting to explore if there could be an indirect human presence at work. For example, in Scribble Squares it would be very easy to imagine a human hand holding the pen. Maybe our brains subconsciously put a hand there to fill in the blank and therefore creating an indirect human presence. I hope future studies will explore this further!
